Jim and Greg Receive the Order of Canada

The ceremony took place at Rideau Hall and they received this incredible honour alongside astronaut Chris Hadfield, former Bank of Canada governor Mark Carney, and others.

Five Days in July Nominated for the Slaight Family Polaris Heritage Prize

Blue Rodeo’s fifth studio album, Five Days in July has been nominated for the Slaight Family Polaris Heritage Prize!

The Slaight Family Polaris Heritage Prize honours Canadian albums of the past from four distinct time periods: the ’60s & ’70s, the ’80s, the ’90s, and the ’00s (2000-05). Like the Polaris Music Prize, winners and nominees for the Heritage Prize are albums of the highest artistic quality, without regards to sales or affiliations.

Vote for Blue Rodeo’s Five Days in July in the ’90s period here. You only get one ballot so make it count! Voting is open until October 5.

Blue Rodeo Announce Stratford Show, Presale On Now!

Stratford! Blue Rodeo will return on October 30 for a performance at the 14th World Festival of Children’s Theatre. This international festival celebrates the works of theatre “for children by children” and the Stratford stop will be the festival’s first visit anywhere in North America.

Strangers In The Night

On June 20, Blue Rodeo will take part in Strangers In The Night in Pointe-Claire, QC.

Strangers in the Night 11 is a unique charity gourmet gala.  The Fairview Pointe Claire parking lot will, once again, be transformed into a virtual hall under the stars, where over 200 tables will be set under enormous tents to welcome you to an amazing and memorable evening for a great cause.

Starlight Children’s Foundation Quebec is a non-profit organization dedicated to putting smiles on the faces of ill children and their families.

Blue Rodeo to Celebrate Canada Day In Surrey, BC

Surrey! Celebrate your Canada Day this year with Blue Rodeo. The all-day, free event takes place at the Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre and the band will be performing on the 2015 Chevron Mainstage at 9 pm.
