Sax Players attempt World Record

Blue Rodeo’s horn section leader and Juno-winning Richard Underhill has gotten together with former band mates from The Shuffle Demons to stage a very special event. They’re inviting sax players of all levels and ages to get together May 30th at Dundas Square in Toronto to attempt the Guiness Book of World Records for most saxophones playing one song (Hockey Night in Canada theme).

4th Anniversary of bluerodeo.com

May 15th marks the day our discussion board was first seeded in 2000. The site existed before, but for us the board marked the birth of our community. It’s the people who came here and shared their spirit is what made BR.com special. Thanks for the joy we get from hosting this place!

Ticket Pre-sale for Vancouver, May 10th

Blue Rodeo will play Malkin Bowl on July 4th & 5th. Kathleen Edwards is opening. The best seats, and also general tickets, will be on sale in our online Store starting on Monday, May 10th at 8PM (PST). Order and you’ll be entered to win a drumstick signed by the band members!

The Unintended Tour Dates

The band is embarking on the very first tour of their career in April and May. So far, it will keep them close to their Toronto home with six dates in Southern Ontario and a couple in Quebec. More dates are expected to be announced soon.

Cuddy to wrap-up Canada Reads

Jim will be on CBC Radio on Monday April 12th doing a final wrap-up of Canada Reads with hosts Bill Richardson and Shelagh Rogers. They will also be announcing the results of the People’s Choice vote. Tune in between 11 AM and Noon (EST).
