BLUE RODEO ANNOUNCES FIRST NEW ALBUM IN FIVE YEARS – MANY A MILE – OUT DECEMBER 3

October 15, 2021

Blue Rodeo Toronto. August 23, 2021. Dustin Rabin Photography 2854

Canadian music icons Blue Rodeo have announced today that their 16th studio album and first in over five years, Many A Mile, will be released on December 3. The album is preceded today by the release of the first single “When You Were Wild,” along with an accompanying lyric video.

The band will gather this Sunday at 8pm ET at their Woodshed Studio for a special online performance to be streamed on their YouTube and Facebook pages.

The spirit of “When You Were Wild” is summed up with the lyrics voiced by Greg Keelor: “On your darkest day you’ll find your best friends.”

Says Keelor: “That line is what ‘When You Were Wild’ is all about. When you meet your moment of reckoning and you feel the fuckery of fate’s wheel careening through your life, it is friends that get you through. A lifetime of friendship is only remembered in the moment.”

Stay tuned as the band reveals more details on the making of Many A Mile in the coming weeks.
