Fire Aid

On June 29, Blue Rodeo will join Nickelback, Corb Lund, Ian Tyson, Randy Bachman with The Sadies and many more for Fire Aid for Fort McMurray. Fire Aid is a major benefit concert being planned in support of people in the City of Fort McMurray and the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) directly impacted by the Alberta Fires.

The concert will take place in Edmonton, AB at Commonwealth Stadium. Tickets for Fire Aid for Fort McMurray go on sale Monday, May 30 at 10 am MDT through Ticketmaster.

Blue Rodeo at Summertime Blues 2016!

Blue Rodeo have been announced as the headlining act for the second day of Owen Sound’s Summertime Blues 2016! They’ll be joined by special guests Joel Plaskett and Dry Country for the show which takes place at Kelso Beach Park.

Presale tickets go on sale tomorrow, May 19 at 10 am EDT on the Tour page.

Benefit For Full Day Kindergarten with Jim Cuddy

The Jim Cuddy Band will head to Edmonton, AB on Friday, May 27 for the Benefit for Full Day Kindergarten presented by Riverbend Junior High School. Tickets can be purchased here for the event which takes place at the Citadel Theatre.

Riverbend School has chosen to support the Edmonton Public Schools Foundation and its priority of providing full-day Kindergarten programs for socially vulnerable children. The building blocks for learning happens in the Kindergarten classroom and an entire day of learning will help these children as they get ready for Grade 1 and life.

The Spirit of John

On June 2, Jim will join John Mann (Spirit of the West) for a few songs at Toronto’s Horseshoe Tavern for The Spirit of John, a benefit concert in support of the Alzheimer Society’s Music Project. Molly Johnson, Royal Wood, Tom Wilson (Black and the Rodeo Kings) and many more will also perform. Tickets can be purchased through TicketFly.

The Alzheimer Society’s Music Project provides personalized playlists and iPods for people living with dementia in Toronto. Concert-goers will be participating in the first ever Fund A Need, which aims to raise enough money to supply iPods for a month!
