To celebrate Blue Rodeo’s 2014 Governor General’s Performing Arts Award, the NFB and the National Arts Centre created Blue Rodeo: On The Road. Here’s what the NFB had to say about the short film:

Blue Rodeo will return to Ottawa on September 13 for the 21st installment of the Ottawa Folk Festival! Serena Ryder, The National, Lorde and The War On Drugs are just a few of the great acts joining the band in Hog’s Back Park. Early Bird tickets are available now via Capital Tickets.

On November 7, The Jim Cuddy band will perform in Oshawa, ON at the Regent Theatre! Presale tickets are available now through the Regent Theatre box office. The passcode to access the presale is skyscraper.

Blue Rodeo is heading to the east coast on August 1 for an outdoor show in Sydney, NS at the Joan Harriss Cruise Pavilion. To add to the excitement, Great Big Sea’s Alan Doyle and his band will open the night! Tickets are on sale now at BlueRodeo.com.

Here’s your first look at Blue Rodeo’s Diamond Mine reissue for Record Store Day 2014! Available this Saturday, April 19, the classic 1989 album will be released as a limited edition double LP on blue and red 180-gram vinyl.
