Another show confirmed: Blue Rodeo will headline the Rock The Boat Festival in Tyne Valley, PE on Saturday, August 2. Alan Doyle (from Great Big Sea) and Jimmy Rankin are also on the bill.

As you may have heard, Blue Rodeo has been selected as the official ambassadors of the Canadian edition of Record Store Day 2014. To mark the occasion, the band will be reissuing their classic 1989 album Diamond Mine as a double LP on blue and green 180-gram vinyl!

It was announced earlier today that Blue Rodeo is among the winners of the 2014 Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards. Other winners include actors Tom Jackson and Brent Carver and dancers Anik Bissonnette and Louise Lecavalier.
