The band is embarking on the very first tour of their career in April and May. So far, it will keep them close to their Toronto home with six dates in Southern Ontario and a couple in Quebec. More dates are expected to be announced soon.

Jim will be on CBC Radio on Monday April 12th doing a final wrap-up of Canada Reads with hosts Bill Richardson and Shelagh Rogers. They will also be announcing the results of the People’s Choice vote. Tune in between 11 AM and Noon (EST).

Blue Rodeo’s Jim Cuddy will be joining CBC Blue Series’ Nancy Wood at noon on March 31 for The Radio Noon Book Club where he will debate the winning Canada Reads book, Guy Vanderhaeghe’s The Last Crossing.

He is heading out west to promote his second solo album ‘Handmade.’ He’ll travel through SK, AB and BC, before heading back East in April. This tour is hot on the heels of Jimmy’s 2 big EMCA wins in February.

Blue Rodeo’s Bob Egan will be touring the US with Autumn Defense (John Stirratt of Wilco’s side project) throughout the month of March.

The game set to take place April 2nd at the AgriCom Arena in Edmonton will have the NHL old timers face off against Canadian rock stars. The artists’ team coached by singer-songwriter Kathleen Edwards has chosen Blue Rodeo’s Jim Cuddy as team captain.
