Is “Try” an Essential Canadian Song?

Jacksoul Covers “Try”

Starting on Thursday, June 22 at 9am MDT, BlueRodeo.com will start selling special VIP tickets to see the band’s July 28 show at Ed Fest. These tickets are ONLY available through BlueRodeo.com and will give the holder a seat in the VIP tent that includes private entrances, a cash bar and about 29 other Blue Rodeo fans. Blue Rodeo to Play Nanaimo

On July 16, come down to Nanaimo’s Beban Park for a night of great music with Blue Rodeo. The band will be in town to play a fundraiser for the Nanaimo Area Land Trust.

BlueRodeo.com will start selling tickets to this show on Friday, June 16. We will be selling general admission and assigned seating and all of our assigned seating tickets are guaranteed to be in the front row. So if you’ve ever wanted to be front row at a Blue Rodeo concert, here’s your chance!

Jim Appears as a Surprise Guest on CBC Radio

CBCRadio1-061306On Saturday, June 3, Jim appeared on CBC Radio One’s “Go” program as the special surprise musical guest.

He played “Try” with a string quartet led by Kevin Fox, and made up of these young ladies: Danni, Tiffany and Kayla.

Blue Rodeo on BBC Radio Scotland

Last Friday, Blue Rodeo appeared on the BBC Radio Scotland program “Brand New Country.” Show host Bryan Burnett interviewed the band and played some of his favourite Blue Rodeo songs. For the next few days, you can listen to the program on the BBC’s “Listen Again” player. Jim Cuddy to Appear on the Broadcast of Canada’s Walk on Fame

The presenters for this year’s Canada’s Walk of Fame tribute gala have been announced and Blue Rodeo’s very own Jim Cuddy will be one of them! Jim will present singer-songwriter Jann Arden with her Walk of Fame award. The broadcast of this year’s walk will air on Sunday, June 4 at 7pm EDT on CTV. Blue Rodeo to Play Port Colborne’s Sunsplash Beach Festival

Another Blue Rodeo summer concert has been announced! The band will be playing Port Colborne’s Sunsplash Beach Festival on June 25. David Usher will open for the band and the venue will be Port Colborne’s own Nickle Beach. Also recently announced is a Bob Egan solo show. Bob will be playing London, ON on June 9.
